These terms govern your use of sfltoday.com (the "site"), run by SFL Today. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site's content

SFL Today publishes original stories, curated headlines with attribution and links to the original publishers, and a local business directory. Headlines and short summaries from other outlets remain the property of their publishers; our original stories, site design, and directory organization are ours. You may share links to our pages freely. Scraping the directory to build a competing listing database, or republishing our original stories in full without permission, is not allowed.

Directory listings

A listing is informational. It is not an endorsement, a guarantee, or a review of the business, and we are not responsible for the goods or services a listed business provides.
If you submit a listing, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the right to publish it. We may edit, decline, or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or not a real local business.
Business owners may claim and correct their listings at any time through the contact page.

Premium listings

Premium is a paid placement upgrade ($49/month) that gives a listing priority placement and a Premium badge. Premium does not change how we cover the news and does not buy a favorable description. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; you can cancel at any time through the contact page, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to submit false listings, spam, or unlawful content; do not attempt to disrupt the site or access it in ways that burden our systems. We may remove content and block access that violates these terms.

Liability

The site is provided "as is." We work to keep information accurate and current, but news develops and business details change — verify time-sensitive information (hours, prices, weather warnings) with the original source before acting on it. To the extent allowed by law, SFL Today is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on a listing. These terms are governed by Florida law.
